About

Why I Do This Work

I spent 14 years working inside education and family-service nonprofits before becoming a consultant—so I understand the realities of the field. For the past eight years, I’ve partnered with organizations across the U.S., and I’ve seen a consistent pattern: good leaders and teams work incredibly hard but get trapped in systems that don’t support the work they’re trying to do.With more than 20 years working alongside nonprofits and public-serving organizations, I’ve learned how easily effort gets wasted when systems don’t support the people doing the work. My role is to help organizations break free from what’s not working and redirect time and energy toward practical approaches that actually move things forward.Equity drives my work. I believe people closest to the work should be able to engage meaningfully in decision-making, which is why I focus on clear communication, accessible tools, and shared understanding. No matter the context, my focus is on practical approaches that respect people’s time, center equity, and lead to meaningful results.
